The Twisted Minds of Aimee and Angie

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit. - EE Cummings

Thanksgiving 2006

Despite all the changes this year and the obvious absence of a few people (most noticeably, Drew, who decided to "do his own thing") Thanksgiving turned out to be a very good day. The food was positively yummy, everyone who was there actually wanted to be there and we ended up playing a five hour game of Monopoly that my son, Mr. Ants in his Pants, sat through without so much as a single complaint (even when it was evident he wasn't going to win). So, yeah, a very good day indeed.

^^ All done.

The pictures of our tree didn't come out very good, they're a bit blurry, I'll have to try and take some better ones tomorrow, but it looks beautiful! Cameron thinks it's the best tree we've ever had! YAY!
